PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE WHILE FLYING/TRAVELING DURING PANDEMIC
The inventory list must be prepared
Everyone at some point will plan to travel during this pandemic, after being bound by the guidelines set by the Government during the unlocking of the country at a slow pace.
Therefore, everyone must have an inventory list before they start traveling. The list should contain face masks, hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, hand gloves, oximeter, thermometer, towels, and tissues.
Be alert of what you touch
Make sure you stay alert of what you touch once you are out of your house. Be very careful of touching those surfaces that have been touched by other people like escalators, ATM Machines, Lifts, doors, etc. It is preferred to wear hand gloves while at these places and keep sanitizing your hands or wash them regularly at a decent washroom.
Minimize human contact
Now we are in an age of high technology & automation. Please trust the technology and avoid direct contact with humans wherever possible. At the airports, everything is automated right from check-in to issuing of the boarding pass. Maintain a distance of 6 feet from another person and keep wearing the face mask & hand gloves.
Wipe down your surroundings
Use disinfectant wipes only on hard surfaces and avoid wiping it on the soft surface as the surface might become wet increasing the chances of spreading the germs even more.
Don’t drink water outside
Avoid drinking water in the plane as the water may not be absolutely clean. Also avoid taking any other liquids like tea, coffee.
Stay home if you feel sick
Please avoid traveling if you feel you are even a little sick as you will be prone to the virus more if your body is weak. Also, all the airports are checking strictly and small symptoms might put you at risk of getting boarded.
Practice good hygiene
Keep washing your hands regularly, breathe easy, cover up your face when sneezing or coughing. Keep cleaning up your face with a tissue or a towel and maintain social distancing norms everywhere. Stay away from people with signs of cough and cold.
Upgrade to Higher Class
If possible please upgrade to the business class as that will minimize the human contact and the services are better compared to the economy class in the plane.
Stay up to date with travel advice & Latest Apps
Keep yourself updated on all the latest travel advice and guidelines by the Government and Airport Authorities.
Travel Insurance/ Vaccinations
Get yourself vaccinated if required with updated vaccines to stay fit & healthy and please carry your travel insurance whenever you are flying or traveling out.
