KERALA SCENIC BACKWATERS IN WATER TAXIS

Kerala is about to witness the first water taxi in Alappuzha by October 2020. These might be introduced in a phased manner in Kerala. To start with there would be 4 boats carrying passengers across the district and all will be powered by diesel engines. All these taxis will be similar to the taxis on-road and would be a great way to commute. Fares will be affordable and on an hourly basis. The seating capacity would be around about 10 people. Travel at a speed of 15 nautical miles per hour. As for the State Water Transport Department, the taxis would start in October and the feasibility study by them has already been conducted.

BUS RIDE FROM RISHIKESH TO LONDON IN 2021

This might be the longest bus route in the world. If you are a road trip fan and love the road journeys then this is for you !!!!  The upcoming tours will start from Rishikesh and go right up to the beautiful lanes of London. This would start most probably in June 2021. This dream bus is been launched by the wrestler Labhanshu Sharma who is from Rishikesh and has won 2 gold medals in Asian International games representing India. He is also a world peace activist.
The whole journey will cover a distance of 21000 km and only 20 lucky people will get the opportunity to travel on this grand journey. It will be a 75-day long tour. Countries covered will be Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France, Wales, Scotland & UK.

NORTHEAST INDIA – A NEW INITIATIVE TO PROMOTE TOURISM

Union Home Minister made an announcement on the World Tourism Day 2020 and inaugurated the destination to showcase the culture, heritage, and tourism. Northeast is full of natural beauty, folk culture, and art. Hornbill Festival of Nagaland, Sangai Festival of Manipur, Northeast has the potential to be the next big hub for Tourism in India.

TREKKING IN NEPAL

Nepal is gradually opening up and the government is now planning to start the inter-city buses, domestic flights, hotels, and restaurants. They are also planning to start the mountaineering and trekking activities in October 2020. Although the RT-PCR test will be mandatory no more than 72 hours before departure to avoid quarantine or self-isolation on arrival in the country.
